Where It All Began
ELS has been a family-owned and operated company since it was founded in 1978 by Michael Pike. Formerly known as Evergreen Lawn Sprinklers, ELS started its venture in the landscaping industry specializing in the installation and maintenance of some of the most prestigious golf courses on the west coast. Some of these notable courses include Pine Canyon, Aspen Valley, MGM and Continental.
In early 2017 when Michael decided to make the transition into retirement, he couldn’t think of a better way to continue his legacy than by passing the business down to his two children Ryan Pike and Angelique Castine. Identifying that ELS could thrive as two separate entities, construction and maintenance, it was determined to create ELS Construction, Inc. in 1980 which has been spearheaded by Jim Castine, his son-in-law, since 1999 and ELS Maintenance, Inc. in 2005 which his son Ryan Pike leads. Both companies continue to operate as a family-owned business under the ELS umbrella.
Together, with Michael’s vision and his children to execute, ELS has grown into a debt-free, multi-million-dollar company, employing over 300 talented landscaping professionals throughout the valley and have held business licenses in Arizona, Nevada, California, Idaho, Texas, and Colorado, as well as The Republic of Mexico.
